Matilde Duus
Matilde Duus explores themes of light, time, and space in her artistic practice, merging a poetic visual language with references to cosmological and scientific phenomena, the human psyche, and our connection to nature. Inspired by the changing seasons and the way they bring and withdraw light, Duus emphasizes the delicate nature of light and its essential role in sustaining life.
Primarily working with glass, Duus combines materials such as metal, natural stones, and paper to create distinctive sculptural pieces. Her artworks explore how light, shadow, and reflection shape our perception, inviting viewers into a thoughtful, engaging experience.
